1. Platform Scope & Medical Disclaimer
Brahtak operates as a 100% Egyptian technological and scheduling intermediary connecting certified physical therapists, medical cupping (Hijama) practitioners, and therapeutic massage specialists with patients across Egypt.
- Platform Role: Brahtak is not a hospital, but a digital intermediary connecting certified providers with patients.
- Primary Care Relationship: Brahtak does not replace an existing primary care doctor relationship or acute emergency care.
- Professional Clinical Judgment: Medical services are subject to the independent clinical judgment of attending specialists.
- Prescription Policy: Brahtak does not guarantee drug prescriptions. Practitioners do not prescribe controlled narcotics or non-therapeutic drugs.
- Data Privacy (Egyptian Law): All data is encrypted and processed in strict compliance with Egyptian Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020.
2. Bookings, Confirmation Deposit, & Payment
To reserve the specialist's dedicated time, transit logistics, and sterile equipment, home visits require a nominal confirmation deposit (credited 100% toward the total fee):
- Accepted Online Channels: Bank Cards (Visa, MC, Meeza via Kashier), InstaPay, and Smart Mobile Wallets.
- Settling Session Balance: The remaining balance is paid directly to the specialist upon session completion in cash or direct transfer.
- Guaranteed Pricing: Practitioners cannot alter agreed pricing once the booking confirmation has been issued.

4. Cancellation, Deposit Refund, & Rescheduling
All bookings are governed by our transparent refund policy in full compliance with Egyptian Consumer Protection Law (Law No. 181 of 2018):
- Free Cancellation (<4h): 100% deposit refund with no fees if cancelled at least 4 hours prior.
- Late Cancellation & No-Shows: Deposit is forfeited to cover specialist travel and reserved slot.
- Practitioner Delay: Instant 100% refund or priority replacement specialist with courtesy discount.
